- Keep the stack flat. Uneven stacks fill up faster than you think.
- Save the I-piece for Tetrises. Every I-piece used on a single or double is wasted scoring potential.

What's the difference between Cascade and regular Tetris? +

DAS (Delayed Auto-Shift) and ARR (Auto-Repeat Rate) control how shifting feels when you hold a direction key. Cascade uses 170 ms DAS and 40 ms ARR, which matches modern competitive Tetris and gives you precise manual placements followed by rapid automatic repeats.
How does the hold piece work? +
Press C or Shift to swap your current piece with the one in the hold slot. If the hold slot is empty, the current piece goes in and the next piece spawns immediately. You can only hold once per piece — you have to lock the swapped piece before you can hold again.
